Can’t Holdem is played between two players and the game itself
(and any other players).
Each of the Players roll 5 dice and keep them hidden from
the other Player.
One Player also rolls the final 5 dice and leaves them
hidden under a cup so that no one can see them. We’ll call these
the “Community dice”. Effectively, there are three hands:
one for each player and the community hand.
Each Player reviews their 5 dice and makes a bet – High,
Low, or Split.
They should bet High, if they think their dice forms the
highest Dice Poker Hand.
They should bet Low, if they think their dice forms the
lowest Dice Poker hand, and
Bet Split, if they think their hand is between the other
two.
The Players then reveal their hands, and Community dice are
revealed. Players then determine who
guessed right. If a Player guessed wrong, they lose – a chip, a
drink of water, whatever. If both players guess right, then the
audience, if there is one, loses.
Next, the Players that lose pass their dice & cup to the player
to their right (if there are more than two Players).
The order of the letters is: "H" is the highest,
followed by "O", followed by "L", "D", "E", and then with "M" as the lowest
valued.
